Sick with the law? Wanna take it into your own hand? Ladies and Gentlemen, let me introduce you - Erica Bain (Jodie Foster) ! A radio host whose wonderful life with her fiance in New York had been robbed by a gang of gangster in a brutal attack which leaved Erica badly wounded and her fiance dead. Since then Erica felt her soul was taken by stranger. After couple times of killing few culprits in the act of self-defence, she then discovered the new Erica inside her and continue her own pursuit of justice. She then hailed as vigilante by the New Yorkers but the NYPD lead by Detective Sean Merser (Terrence Howard) trying hard to capture the resident hero. The cat-and-mouse games in the investigation process remembered me of a Japanese film's - Death Note when Erica and Merser being close friend. Well the ending of this film also unpredictable so you better watch it now.
Well it's a nice movie imho. Better than the Baaad Sheep that I watched last night. Credits to the crews especially Neil Jordan (Director), Roderick Taylor & Bruce A. Taylor (Screenplay & Story) and more.
